Revo-Rack is the next generation of boot rack. As cars get more modern the panel gaps between the boot lid and rear wing are getting much smaller as tolerances are reduced. We first noticed this in 2015 with the launch of the MK4 MX5, the spring racks we stock fitted but you could not close the boot the clamp was wider than the panel gap. Modern cars also have much more complex shaped boot lids than 1970's and 80's convertibles.\u00a0 Modern convertibles are also using aluminium and composite bodywork the idea of a heavy stainless steel rack on a light aluminium boot lid seemed very dated to us. The Revo-Racks frame is made from 25mm T5 aluminium and magnesium tube, light and strong it only weighs 1.7kg\/3.5 lbs. Its measures 900x420mm.<\/p>\n

We developed the Revo-Rack as a result of these issues. The Revo-Rack was conceived designed and is manufactured by us, its the only luggage rack of its type in the world. The rack uses vacuum cups to secure to your car, these are not to be confused with then more common suction cups. With the Revo-Rack you physically pump the air out between the rubber cup and bodywork creating a strong reliable vacuum. This makes the Revo-Rack very easy to fit with no tricky metal clamps or brackets that chip and mark paint.<\/p>\n
